Appointments & first visit
Are you accepting new patients?+
Yes, we are happy to welcome new patients. Call us or use the contact form — we'll find an appointment together.
What should I bring to my first appointment?+
Your insurance card, any existing findings/X-rays and a list of your medications. Especially important: if you take blood thinners, be sure to tell us.
I'm in acute pain — can I get an appointment quickly?+
Call us during opening hours — we try to fit acute cases in at short notice. More on the
emergency page.
Holistic & metal-free
What does biological dentistry mean?+
We don't just look at the single tooth, but at the connections with the whole body — materials, inflammation, the immune system. More under
Holistic Dentistry.
Can I be treated completely metal-free?+
On request, yes — from ceramic implants to metal-free fillings and crowns.
Do you also offer "normal" dentistry?+
Of course — complete classic dentistry, on request entirely metal-free.
Do you remove old amalgam?+
Yes — with a consistent protection protocol (rubber dam, special suction, algae dressing). Details under
Amalgam removal.
Jaw joint & CMD
Can head, neck or back pain come from the jaw?+
Yes, that is possible. Bite, chewing muscles and posture are connected. We assess the possible connections — see
Jaw Joint & CMD.
What does a splint achieve?+
An individual splint can relieve the chewing muscles and jaw joint — especially with grinding and clenching. It is often an important building block of CMD therapy.
I already have a splint — isn't that enough?+
Splints cannot be compared across the board. It's like glasses: safety goggles, magnifying glasses or glasses for long- or short-sightedness all serve very different purposes. What matters is how precisely a splint is individually measured and matched to your findings. Feel free to bring your existing splint — we'll check whether it suits your situation.
Implants & tooth replacement
Ceramic or titanium — which is better?+
We offer both. Ceramic is metal-free, tissue-friendly and aesthetic; titanium is long-established. We advise you honestly — see
Ceramic Implants.
Are ceramic implants more expensive?+
We bill both similarly. As we can implant immediately in 70–80% of cases, you often save additional procedures, time and downtime — frequently cheaper overall.
Do you carry out root canal treatments?+
We deliberately do not carry out root canal treatments and apicoectomies ourselves. We advise on alternatives and refer you to specialists on request — the decision is yours.
What is PRF?+
PRF is a wound-healing concentrate made from your own blood — for less post-operative bleeding and better healing after procedures. More under
PRF from your own blood.
Prophylaxis & costs
How often should I have a professional dental cleaning?+
Usually once or twice a year — depending on your individual risk. More under
Prophylaxis.
What does health insurance cover?+
That depends on the treatment. For larger measures we draw up a transparent treatment and cost plan in advance, so you know exactly what to expect.
Can I pay in instalments?+
Talk to us — for larger treatments, instalment payments can usually be arranged through a partner.
