PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is obtained from a small blood sample from you. From it forms a body's-own fibrin network with growth factors, which we place into the wound or the empty tooth socket (alveolus) — as natural support for healing.
The fibrin network closes the wound naturally and stabilises the blood clot.
The body's own growth factors promote healing — entirely without foreign material.
The socket is stabilised — this helps to preserve the jawbone, e.g. for later implants.
Important after every procedure: do not rinse — not even after brushing. You'll find the full instructions under After procedures.
"What the body provides itself, it tolerates best."
We are happy to explain whether PRF makes sense for your procedure.
