Ceramic implants are the natural alternative to titanium: tissue-friendly, aesthetic and especially stable. There is no corrosion and no material change — the body does not react to it.
We offer both and advise you honestly on what makes the most sense in your situation — the decision is yours.
An implant replaces the tooth root — and can do more than just close a gap. These are the three cases we see most often.
When a single tooth is missing, the implant carries the new crown on its own. This avoids a bridge — and the healthy neighbouring teeth remain untouched instead of being ground down to serve as bridge abutments.
When only a few teeth remain, implants give a partial denture additional support points. The denture sits tighter and more stable — and holds far more reliably in everyday life.
When no tooth remains, just a few implants securely anchor a denture in the jaw. It no longer wobbles and does not need to be removed — for a secure feeling when eating and speaking.
Good to know: We anchor dentures (situations 2 and 3) with titanium implants. With ceramic implants we deliberately use only fixed restorations (e.g. crowns) — because the tilting and leverage forces of a denture cannot be controlled here to 100 %. Safety comes first for us.
Biocompatible and body-neutral — ideal if you prefer metal-free care.
Tooth-white instead of grey — naturally beautiful even at the gum line, with no dark shimmer.
The gum attaches well to the ceramic — a good basis for healthy tissue.
Because we pursue the same goal: fast, complication-free and pain-free. With the right preparation and a little participation, what at first seems impossible often succeeds — with ceramic implants on molars even immediate implantation with immediate restoration.
How to prepare →In principle, we bill ceramic and titanium implants similarly. For a zirconia implant we prepare your body specifically for the procedure — that's a little more effort and can seem more expensive at first. The decisive advantage: in 70–80 % of cases we place the implant immediately.
Every additional procedure would otherwise cost extra.
A shorter overall path to a fixed tooth.
Less interruption to your private & professional life.
We discuss the exact treatment and cost plan with you individually and transparently.
A health check, the bone supply and the gum are assessed and planned digitally.
Placing the ceramic implant — with good conditions, even immediately after tooth removal.
With the right participation it heals calmly and stably — we accompany you closely.
The final ceramic crown — functional and aesthetic like a natural tooth.
After every implantation we cool here with the Hilotherm system. An anatomically shaped face cuff has temperature-controlled water flowing through it and rests gently against the cheek and jaw — at a constant temperature of 15–22 °C (our recommendation: 15–17 °C), which the device maintains continuously.
That's the decisive difference from a classic ice pack: it cools too strongly at first, then thaws and fluctuates constantly. The even hilotherapy is therefore considerably more effective — and much more pleasant, too.
Constant cold inhibits swelling more effectively than changing cold packs.
Even cooling calms the tissue and eases the wound pain.
Supports calm, swift healing — with ceramic and titanium implants.
No cold damage, no annoying re-freezing — comfortable to wear over a long time.
For home use too: the compact Hilotherm device holds the set temperature exactly and evenly. This way you can comfortably continue the effective cooling in the first few days after the procedure at home too — for a calm healing process with little discomfort.
"What the body tolerates well, it can accept for the long term — metal-free, in harmony with the tissue."
