Perhaps that's exactly why I treat the way I do: with time, with genuine listening and with an eye for the connections throughout the whole body.
For many years I lived with allergies — among them to grasses. My life changed when I met someone who really listened: insights and experience from holistic and ceramic implantology found open ears with me — and made a noticeable difference.
Even as a child I had knee pain and became acquainted early on with chronic pain. Over the years I discovered the connections to the jaw — a key that explained a great deal. My motivation grew out of this personal experience.
I know how it feels to want to be taken seriously with your complaints — and how much genuine listening can change. I never lose sight of this perspective.
Every practitioner is also a patient. I am one — and one who keeps eyes and ears open. I look for connections and treat causes instead of just symptoms. What I see, I show you: with the intraoral camera we take images from inside your mouth and discuss them together — so dentistry becomes understandable for you.
One thing matters to me: I, too, cannot make promises. We achieve lasting success only together — when we deal openly with each other.
Sometimes this openness also leads to it being better to part ways: if expectations differ too much, a treatment can become a test of endurance. Then it's more honest to go separate ways — because trust and a shared goal are the foundation for a good result.
I'm developing a concept that makes the connections between jaw, pain and body tangible — so that this knowledge reaches more practitioners and, in the end, helps more people.
"Because I'm a patient myself, I know how much genuine listening can change."
I take time for your story — and for the question of what lies behind your complaints.
