Crowns, bridges & tooth replacement

Firm, beautiful tooth replacement — as natural and as body-compatible as possible. Wherever possible we rely on ceramic and, where stability requires it, complement with proven solutions.

Crowns & bridges

Made of ceramic — especially zirconia

We prefer to make crowns and bridges from high-strength zirconia ceramic: metal-free, very stable and coloured like a natural tooth — without a dark edge at the gumline.

·Very high stability (zirconia)
·Natural aesthetics, even at the gumline

When more stability is needed

Extensive tooth replacement is usually metal-based — for the necessary stability, mostly combined with ceramic. If stable abutment teeth are missing, we add a titanium implant as a reliable foundation. This creates a solution that lasts.

When to support with implants?

Simple statics — like a stable table

An implant replaces one or more teeth excellently. How many "legs" the tooth replacement needs follows a simple consideration:

1At least one stable "leg" in every corner — for a secure hold.
2In the upper jaw the bone is softer — depending on atrophy, implants are shorter or thinner.
3Then often a 5th or 6th pillar is added — always following the jaw arch (horseshoe-shaped), never in the palate.

Stable corner pillars Additional pillars (mostly upper jaw)

Simplified illustration — the pillars always follow the jaw arch (no pillar in the palate). The additional pillars usually concern the upper jaw; in the more stable lower jaw they are usually unnecessary. Depending on your individual situation — bone quality and the stability of the teeth in the opposing jaw — the planning may look different.

Single tooth

One missing tooth — replaced by a crown on an implant, without grinding down neighbouring teeth.

Several teeth

Zirconia bridges — implant-supported if needed, when stable pillars are missing.

Larger restoration

Fixed tooth replacement on several implants — stably planned according to the "legs" principle.

"Stably planned, beautifully made — tooth replacement that lasts and feels natural."
